Here at Dogstop we are first and foremost a dedicated team of dog enthusiasts who share a deep love and passion for our furry friends.
We have a simple mission – to create a one stop site for fellow dog lovers all over Ireland and beyond. We aim to be your ultimate destination for all things dog-related!
Benjamin heads up our strategy department and can often be found sitting pensively on a padded chair outside our HQ and staring wistfully off into the distance as he plots DogStop’s next move.
If you’re ever looking for Benjamin outside of office hours then look no further than your closest country club or charity event where you’ll likely find him at the head of the top table, schmoozing and making people laugh. Benjamin loves being the centre of attention. He relishes activities that allow him to showcase his charm and charisma and his vibrant personality shines on stage, captivating audiences with his natural flair and showmanship.
Benjamin is also a very caring and affectionate soul who is perhaps happiest when spending quality time with his family. He is an enthusiast of relaxation and contentment who has mastered the art of leisure and knows exactly how to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. His hobbies revolve around comfort and tranquillity. A true foodie, Benjamin always savours every meal, carefully dissecting and embracing the delicious flavours that come his way – before wiping his face clean on the living room curtains!
While physical activities may not be his strong suit, Benjamin still enjoys the occasional leisurely stroll. He takes his time, exploring everything at a relaxed pace, appreciating the scents and sights that cross his path
Charismatic and athletic, Marlo is the brains and driving force behind DogStop. She has an insatiable drive to succeed and lust for life, likely born from entering this world with a life-threatening deformity whereby she had to be bottle fed liquids until she was twelve weeks old. At twelve weeks she underwent an operation when many experts said that she couldn’t be cured. Thankfully, the operation was a success and Marlo has approached every day since with the enthusiasm of someone who truly appreciates that tomorrow isn’t promised.
Marlo’s primary passion lies in physical fitness and exercise. She loves exploring nature, whether it’s hiking through rugged trails or engaging in water sports. Her boundless energy and agility make her a natural at any activities she seems to throw her paw at.
Marlo also loves engaging in activities that challenge her intelligence and problem-solving abilities. She enjoys puzzles, strategy games, and brain teasers, as they keep her sharp mind constantly engaged. She thrives on the thrill of finding solutions and outwitting opponents, displaying her strategic thinking and mental acuity. Be warned though, she will do whatever it takes to win at Monopoly and has been known to take both man and ball when playing soccer.
Mo is popular with both staff and customers owing to his high intelligence, luscious locks and slender frame. Forever in a good mood (unless it’s month end) and with an infectious smile, Mo radiates a vibrant energy that captivates everyone around him.
Mo’s energetic nature is undeniable. He’s always ready for action, bouncing around with an unyielding enthusiasm that’s infectious. This vivacity often translates into a strong work ethic, driving him to excel in whatever tasks or challenges he undertakes.
Mo loves nothing more than birdwatching from his mountainside garden and running. He is a member of his local cross country team the Pawsome Pacers. He has been approached numerous times in the past about modelling but prefers to keep his four paws firmly on the ground.
Despite some dubious incidents of Mo jumping on other’s laps and kissing them, he has been described as a great boy by many of his colleagues.
Gini joined the company at the same time as Mo and even though they are not related, they share a birthday.
Gini has been described in many ways: cute, playful, and temperamental. Gini loves being around others but can be quite grumpy when she is tired. This is an advantage when conducting her recruitment duties as she can effortlessly cut through any nonsense. She can be quick to react, wearing her emotions on her sleeve (or rather, in her bark) and letting everyone know when she’s displeased.
Her small size might deceive some, but those who underestimate her fiery spirit are in for a surprise. Gini leaves an indelible mark wherever she goes, truly embodying the phrase “small but mighty.”
Gini’s favourite hobbies include eating as much as possible and barking at children. As long as she gets 18 hours of sleep a night, it is hard to think of anyone we would rather have around.
