Moylussa

At over 530m tall, Moylussa is the tallest peak in Co. Clare. tallest peak standing at an impressive 532m tall.

To hike begin the hike, you and your doggy should should start from the base in Twomilegate. Then start on the hike up part of the Ballycuggaran Looped Walk before following the signs for Moylussa.

Most of the hike is a stone trail and plenty of smells along the way. Mostly, the hike is generally moderate until you near the top where it gets far steeper and challenging.

The weather can vary at the summit and there is often a thick fog. Be sure to check the forecast before you and your pup leave home. Sunrise trips are very popular so hopefully the fog will hold off and when you reach the top of Moylussa there will be no better place to watch the day begin
